HOD’s Message

The Department of Electrical Engineering at JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering commenced its academic journey in the academic year 2017–18 with an undergraduate intake of 60 students. The department is known for its spacious infrastructure, modern and fully equipped laboratories, qualified and dedicated faculty, and a strong emphasis on innovative, project-based teaching and learning methods. Our faculty team is highly experienced, with an average teaching experience exceeding 15 years. In addition to the academic curriculum, the department actively organizes a variety of co-curricular activities such as hands-on projects, technical seminars, skill-based training, workshops, and expert lectures.

We maintain strong industry collaboration and proudly host an industry-supported Electric Vehicle (EV) laboratory. A unique feature of our program is the six-month full-time industry internship included in the final year, which offers students valuable real-world experience. The curriculum is carefully structured to align with current industry demands, ensuring our graduates are industry-ready. The department continuously encourages students to participate in industry-institute interaction activities and contribute to social outreach programs, fostering both professional and personal growth.
