CSI : Computer Society of India (Institutional Membership)

About Chapter / Club / Association :
The seed for the Computer Society of India (CSI) was first shown in the year 1965 with a handful of IT enthusiasts who were a computer user group and felt the need to organize these activities. They also wanted to share their knowledge and exchange ideas on what they felt was a fast emerging sector. Today the CSI takes pride in being the largest and most professionally managed association of and for IT professionals in India. The purposes of the Society are scientific and educational directed towards the advancement of the theory and practice of computer science and IT.

Mission Statement : Keeping in mind the interest of the IT professionals & computer users CSI works towards making the profession an area of choice amongst all sections of the society. The promotion of Information Technology as a profession is the top priority of CSI today.

Objectives -: To fulfil this objective the CSI regularly organizes conferences, conventions, lectures, projects, awards. And at the same time it also ensures that regular training and skill updating are organised for the IT professionals.

About Chapter / Club / Association : The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System. Being the only national organisation of educators in the field of Engineering and Technology, ISTE effectively contributes in various missions of the Union Government. The strength of ISTE is the strong base it has in technical education institutions in the country.

Mission Statement : ISTE's mission is to empower educators to reimagine and redesign learning through impactful and meaningful technology use. We achieve this by offering transformative professional learning, fostering vibrant communities, and ensuring that digital tools and experiences are accessible and effective.

Objectives -:1) providing quality training programmes to teachers and administrators of technical institutions to update their knowledge and skills in their fields of activity. 2) To assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industry and other organizations. 3) Providing guidance and training to students to develop better learning skills and personality.

Outcomes -:Today’s students must be prepared to thrive in an evolving technological landscape. The student section of the ISTE Standards is designed to empower student voice and ensure that learning is a student-driven process.

About Chapter / Club / Association : -:The Student Association of MCA (SAMCA) serves as a dynamic platform aimed at fostering socialization, collaboration, and professional networking among students. Operated and managed by the students of the MCA department, SAMCA plays a pivotal role in organizing a wide range of technical workshops, training programs, and social initiatives. Through this association, students not only enhance their technical skills but also cultivate leadership qualities, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility — all of which contribute to their holistic development.

Mission Statement : -:Educate and develop the whole student. Support the appreciation, understanding, and advocacy for equity, diversity, and inclusion. Provide opportunities for personal growth, mentorship, and connections for the attainment of individual goals. Objectives : Create, organize, promote and enrich the social, cultural, recreational, educational programs, services and environment for students of the College.
