Pedagogic Strategies

At the start of academic semester, load distribution of faculty is done as per the choice and expertise of the faculty members. Every faculty submits teaching plan of their respective course to the Departmental Academic Co-ordinator (DAC) after verification by the Head of the Department. The teaching plan is also uploaded on Moodle. The DAC and AC monitor the academic activities regularly.

The teaching plan consists of

  • Teaching and examination scheme.
  • Course Outcomes (COs), Topic Learning Outcomes (TLOs) and their mapping.
  • Teaching model and teaching materials.
  • Student activity.
  • Teaching assessment.
  • Planned and actual date.
  • List of Reference and text books.
  • Assignment dates.
  • Probable dates to bridge the knowledge gap.
  • All efforts are being taken to groom students as techno excellent engineers.

  • Every year technical event like ‘INNOVISION’ is organized by and for the students.

  • Institute organizes and support industrial visits.

  • Organizes “INNOVISION” where events like Model making, Design Mania etc. to develop collaborative learning.
  • Encourages and helps students to select industrial based projects.
  • Support system for Independent learning/Self learning

  • Virtual lab facility where student can get hands on experience.
  • Modern central library where separate reference books section and e-journals supports student for Independent learning.
  • Encourages students for online certification courses.
  • Institute has provided lecture capture facility. Captured lectures are made available for the purpose of self-learning of students on Imparatus.
  • Encourages students to participate in various technical events, workshops and seminars.
  • The aforesaid support system and structure develops Knowledge, Skill and Attitude (KSA) among the students and thereby making learning process more student centric.
